Experience modern Jerusalem through Mahane Yehuda Market, the Knesset, and the picturesque neighborhood of Ein Karem to visit the Church of St. John the Baptist. This tour includes an extra free day in Jerusalem with the option to tour Dead Sea and Masada on the free day. Optional Night out of the Sound and Light Show at the Tower of David on Night 2. Arrival at Ben Gurion Airport. Transfer to Jerusalem. Accommodation in
Jerusalem. Dinner not included.
After breakfast, departure to the Mount of Olives for a magnificent view of the
city. Continue to the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations.
Proceed to the Old City to visit the Western Wall. Then, walk the Via Dolorosa to
the site of Jesus’ crucifixion and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Visit Mount
Zion, where the Tomb of King David, the Cenacle (site of the Last Supper),
and the Dormition Abbey are located. Continue to the western part of the city
to visit the Mahane Yehuda Market, Jerusalem’s most famous market, where
you can experience a true variety of Israeli cuisine. The market’s main charm,
in addition to its products, is the intercultural atmosphere in its bustling stalls.

Optional Night Out of the Sound and Light Show at the Tower of
David: 4,000 years of Jerusalem’s history are reflected in a fascinating
audiovisual show, illuminated by impressive virtual reality images
projected onto the walls of the Tower of David complex. This can be
done on Monday or Tuesday, depending on availability.
After breakfast, drive to the Temple Mount (visit per possibility). Continue to
the Shrine of the Book at the Israel Museum, where the Dead Sea Scrolls are
displayed, and view the Model of Jerusalem in Jesus’ time. Panoramic tour of
the New City and the Knesset (Israeli Parliament). Proceed to the picturesque
neighborhood of Ein Karem to visit the Church of St. John the Baptist. Continue
to Yad Vashem, the Holocaust Museum and Memorial. Accommodation in
Jerusalem. Dinner not included.
Optional Bethlehem*: Visit Bethlehem with lunch (included), visit the
Church of the Nativity, the Grotto of the Nativity, and the 14-pointed
Star (the site of Jesus’ birth). Return to Jerusalem.

least a week in advance.
After breakfast, free day. Accommodation in Jerusalem. Dinner not included.
Optional Masada and the Dead Sea: Drive to the Dead Sea region, one of the
lowest places on earth. Cable car ascent to Masada, the last Jewish stronghold
in their fight against the Romans. Visit the excavations, Herod’s Palace, and
the Ancient Synagogue. Free time to enjoy a swim in the therapeutic waters of
the Dead Sea. Return to Jerusalem.
Note: The Optional Masada and Dead Sea tour must be booked at least
one week in advance.
After breakfast, transfer to Ben Gurion Airport at the designated time for
departure.
