4 Days to explore the Exodus Sites in Saudi Arabia and to Climb Mount Sinai
Day 1 explores Jethro's Tombs and Zipporah's Well in Midian. It continues to the Red Sea Crossing Site and finishes with swimming and/or snorkeling in the Sea of Aqaba.
Day 2 begins at Rephadim and the possible battlefield where Israel defeated Amalek. It continues to lunch and time well spent at the iconic Split Rock of Moses. The day ends with a luxury, Bedouin style camp at the base of Mount Sinai for groups of 2 or more.
Day 3 is a full day to climb Mount Sinai with a local guide. The ascent is challenging, featuring several steep sections without a clear, established path. Expect to navigate loose rocks and engage in some bouldering. You have the option to either summit the peaks or go to Elijah's Cave. Reaching the peaks and returning can take between 6 to 8 hours, depending on your pace. Going to Elijah's Cave and back take 3-5 hours.
At the base you will see the Golden Calf Altar site, the Moses Altar and see ancient petroglyphs around the mountain. If there is time, you will also see a Graveyard that some suspect is related to the events in Exodus 32.
Day 4 is an adventure through the stunning Wadi Al Disah with a majestic oasis valley in the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Natural Reserve
